TAÍSA MALOUF
Taísa Malouf is production designer holding a Master Degree in Design for Stage and Film at NYU TISCH School of the Arts and a bachelor in Semiotics. Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
Since 2016 she is a member of the United Scenic Artists Union - Local usa 829 IATSE.
She received the 2020 award as Best Production Designer from AMAAC “Mexican Academia of the Arts and Cinematography Sciences” for the feature film “Ya no Estoy Aqui”, the Mexican entry for the 2021 Oscar Academy.
Her designs for music video include productions for Anitta, Cardi B and Selena Gomez. She is the recently winner of the 2021 UK VMA as best production designer for the music video ¨Selfish Love¨.
Among her international productions she designed the Nigerian feature film “Eyimofe” witch premiered at Berlinale 2020 and winner of the best film of the year at "Mostra Sao Paulo international Film Festival”.
In the US she has art directed the feature film “Selah and the Spades” by Tayarisha Poe, recommended by Barack Obama as one of the best films of 2020.
In theatre, among many other productions, she was the associated designer for the Broadway production of “Indecent” by Paula Voguel, winner of 2 Tony awards in 2017.
